We Are Not Their Customers

It makes total sense from a certain perspective why the Associated Press is completely unconcerned with completely justified complaints about their product. Their customers are not actually their readers, but the outlets which purchase and publish their product. Once long ago I put up the AP's contact information to have people complain about some egregious reporting. Not long after I actually met the poor nice woman who happened to be manning the desk and on the other end of that phone line, and she explained that reader complaints were somewhat alien to them. We don't buy their product. We aren't their customers.
