Brad Altrocket walks us through an interesting Washington Post article about the day everything changed in Iraq, the bombing of the golden dome shrine. Of course it wasn't really the day everything changed, it was just the day that the administration finally recognized that maybe there was a problem in Iraq, or the day they managed to convince Bush of that fact, or something.

But the basic thing we learn, again, is that the president is a very flawed being. Instead of being able to see that his previous assessment was wrong, he sees that the world has changed. He wasn't incorrect before, it's that things were different. Then they changed.
