I've never used Uber, but I do call normal cabs sometimes. Usually I just go to the corner and hail them when I need one, but I'll call them for a guest or if luggage is involved. And when I do, I make sure to be on the lookout for when they come because I know it's really inconsiderate
to make them wait.
