I am sure that even with 56 senators we will get some revolving villains and excuses for not being able to do things, but we won't get random ogre tantrums. His character can be written out of next season.
With Democrats winning at least 54 seats in the U.S. Senate, and potentially two more, the consensus on Wednesday was that rogue Democratic Sen. John Fetterman faces a murky future with little leverage.
“John Fetterman is going to come back to the Senate and be isolated and irrelevant,” state Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta, a frequent Fetterman critic who is vice chair of the Democratic National Committee, told PennLive on Wednesday.
In an earlier era it would be possible for a "Fetterman" to switch parties and grab the Republic nomination, but I can't see it happening here.
