Maybe there's a glimmer of hope. There was a discussion on CNN's Paula Zahn Now about Cheney being dumped from the ticket. I missed the first part but happened to see Joe Klein's assertion that there was nothing to it; it was a rumor being perpetrated by the media and the Dems. Paula actually countered with the fact that it was the Republican Al D'Amato who had said it. Joe suddenly became more objective.
Funny how an example of fairer commentary can warm one's heart.
In other news, Hillary will be speaking at the Democratic Convention. She will introduce her husband on the opening night.
