There's no reason to respect John McCain. He's a pandering buffoon whose appeal to the Broders of the world says all you really need to know about him. But, otherwise, good
for Richardson for calling him out. McCain is wrong, very wrong, and his position is very unpopular. It's time for more Democrats to stop hoping they can bask in his reflected glory and start pointing out that he's actually a very bad person.
