I admit I get surprised when clearly
deliberately absurd statements, meant to mock prevailing establishment media sentiment, attract hate mail. Our stupid discourse tells us that we are all race- and gender-blind until women and minorities dare bring up the issues and make the rest of us feel icky inside. My point was that Hillary is a woman, Barack is black, and those facts are generally in evidence even if it isn't an explicit subject of conversation. Any reaction to those facts by voters and our pundits is going to happen regardless.
