Not Quite As Bad As The Other Guys

Krugman discusses how the major parties in both the UK and US have mostly been free market ideologues. This is true, though lately I've been worrying more about elitism than ideology. The degree to which the banksters, who almost destroyed the world, have successfully marketed themselves as personally being necessary for the country's survival is frightening. I worry more about the apparent necessity of rich white men in nice suits than any particular policy views.
