Sure we're all a bit more likely to feel sympathy with a "victim" we identify with somehow, and maybe even find some slightly tortured argument for that additional sympathy to make it seem like some sort of High Principle, but conservatives and glibertarians are incredibly able
to spin 180 degrees.
