Aside from the
'being wrong about stuff' part,' what's maddening about Friedman, aside that somebody actually pays him large sums of money and gives him an
unlimited expense account, is that he really does seem to think that all that's necessary are his narratives and metaphors. He's telling stories, and the need to consult reality never actually occurs to him. Or his editors.
