Not really about the
subject of this article, just made me think about it, but when people clamor for highway expansions I think they tend to forget that a 10 lane highway may be great until, at some point, it ceases to be a 10 lane highway. Those cars are coming and going from somewhere, and the surface streets leading to the highway often won't have the appropriate capacity.
