Calpundit notes that John Lott was Al Hunt's outrage of the week on Capitol Gang.
I saw this yesterday, and was glad Al Hunt brought in what is to me the important aspect of this story - the fact that Lott had testified to congress regarding the Florida voting debacle. Specifically, he mentioned Lott's farcical claim, with no evidence, that thousands of Panhandle residents had been dissuaded from voting after the media called the race 15 minutes before the polls closed.
UPDATE: Mary Rosh, in comments, has some objections:
How dare you claim that there was no evidence for the claim that thousands of voters in the Panhandle stopped from voting. Lott conducted an extensive telephonic survey of Panhandle voters, with college student volunteers making the calls. I forget which colleges. Apologize, Atrios.
