It's hard to tell what's going on. This BBC report from earlier says at least 3 soldiers dead in
an incident in Khaldiyah, though the military hasn't yet commented on this situation. They are however stating that 3 soldiers have died in what seems to be a
separate incident in Tikrit. We also have another soldier falling victim to a "
non-hostile gunshot incident," and another killed
by a power line. There are also several reports of soldiers being wounded.
