I was at a press thingy with Borosage, Schakowsky, and Gloria Totten and the subject of nationsl security came up. Schakowsky mentioned that there are plenty of areas in which the Republicans can be criticized on this issue (of course) and therefore there are opportunities for Democrats to create an alternative vision.
True enough. But, as I asked (which she didn't hear or understand really) - how can the Democrats create an alternate national security vision when the go-to Dems on national security for the
Dems media are precisely the ones who are the least likely to do any such thing?
