As I've probably mentioned a couple of times we have a rather odd mayor's race coming up here in Philadelphia with no clear favorite or favorites. We've got the machine labor guy, the multi-millionaire, the Congressman, the (former) city councilman, the state rep, and the former controller. All the likelies are presumed Democrats at the moment, though party switching for the purpose of running for the office is common behavior.
The one who gets my vote is the one who makes the public transit situation a priority.
