On the Today Show just now Tim Russert seemed to find it significant that they were using an element of the Patriot Act to replace these attorneys using the Patriot Act provision, even though it had nothing to do with fighting terrorism!!!. I think this is about the 3rd time I've seen someone find this aspect significant. It seems to be the least relevant or interesting part of this case. You'd have to be incredibly naive and pretty much asleep for the past few years to not recognize that all kinds of Patriot Act provisions are used for everything but terrorism-related investigations.
Still, whatever keeps them interested I guess.
