I don't think the bloggiverse is useless. It's rather hard to contemplate just how dismal the last several years would have been without it, and I don't just mean as a means of therapy. But it's also the case that sitting around and bitching on a blog isn't a substitute for actually doing stuff, and kudos to those
who actually do it.
