I'm a member (at the younger end) of the most Republican generational cohort. I think there's probably a pretty interesting story to be told about how Republicans have lost
the younger vote so badly. I've got a few theories I'll ponder for a bit. Obviously the fact that everybody hates George Bush is part of it. But party identification aside, this is also about issues. I think at some point the wingnuts stopped having a conversation with the country and started having a conversation amongst themselves. It makes sense to them, but is gibberish to to the rest of us.
