While I once cheered on expansion of
suburban mass transit, lately I've become selfish and adopted the crazy notion that perhaps the focus should be on densely populated areas not well-served by transit. Not that it has to be one or the other of course, but unless suburban transit projects are partnered with appropriate land use changes the money is better spent elsewhere. Time to abandon the park-n-ride model.
