While a punchline now, it's still maddening that
our elites are sticking to the "well, all the smart people got it wrong so bygones" line. The people who got it wrong got it wrong for the right reasons, and the people who were right were right for the wrong reasons, so obviously the first group must continue on as if nothing has happened.
