What continues to amaze me is (assuming they're being honest) people a) fail to realize that government already plays a massive role in telling people what they can and cannot build on private property and b) really seem to believe that very small changes to existing policies which will likely have precisely zero impact on their current house/neighborhood are, in fact, part of a cunning plan by people like me to
force them to live in Manhattan.
