I'm not going to defend any drunk driving, but in my small experience with such matters there are two types of drunk drivers: the ones who know they're drunk and are smart enough to at least try to drive carefully (which does not mean they're ok to be on the road), and the ones who are drunk and are thinking WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
