We actually lack many of the major "higher end" food chains in or near Center City. No Pf Chang's, no Outback, no Cheesecake factory. Shame if it negatively impacts local businesses (might or might not), but I'm not really against the imminent arrival
of a Cheesecake Factory otherwise. There are thriving commercial corridors outside of the center with plenty of great restaurants (and spots for them, too).
