I don't think it would hurt Mom and Pop businesses to force the Big Boxes to pay their greeters more. Maybe fewer greeters, but, maybe just a little less profit. I was talking to one of the local organizers yesterday; they've been successful with other organizing efforts here in the urban hellhole--where it's kinda hard to live on $7.25 an hour.
