Easy To Get Sucked Into A Thing

I know from years of blogging (both doing it and reading the blogs of others, back when there were other blogs) that it's easy to get a bit sucked into a thing. Decide, for example, that the Yew Nork Times is bad, and it almost becomes a schtick, and you (I) become a bit too into finding fault wherever you can.

Not going to claim to be immune to that type of thing, but I am sensitive to it. I try not to give into the temptation of finding patterns where there are none, or of finding any way possible to get mad at That Fucking Newspaper just because that's a thing I do here on atrios dot blogspot dot com.
