Morning Thread

A bunch of MAGAs protested outside Bill Barr's house yesterday due to his lack of enthusiasm for executing Hunter Biden and arresting Hillary Clinton, or whatever. I noticed the responses from the usual civility police were, "oh, wow, silly MAGAs," and not, "PROTESTING OUTSIDE SOMEONE'S HOME IS A VIOLATION OF THE CIVILITY NORMS, SIRRAHS."

Peacefully protesting outside of the homes of power public figures is a completely appropriate thing to do. Not sure why it's less appropriate than marching down a random residential street in Philadelphia (for example) in front of the residences of a bunch of people who have nothing to do with it. Not saying that's wrong to do, either, just not sure why some public spaces are considered more public than others.
