Everyone pretending to be an expert, reporters just echoing their favorite blob sources, the wails of WE MUST DO SOMETHING where something means "bomb the shit out of people and occupy a country forever" because no other something counts, the privileging of the most destructive warmongers and the exclusion of any other voices, etc... etc...
