It Is Wrong To Judge Anybody For Anything

I think a lot about a certain view expressed by some lawyers, which is, basically, "no lawyer can be criticized for taking on a case, no matter what the case, no matter how much they are paid, otherwise our legal system will crumble."

And, I dunno, guys, I get that even despicable [alleged] actors deserve a defense, but surely if you want extra credit and some gold stars, spending your time defending child slavery for $$$$ and doing MSNBC hits is perhaps slightly less praiseworthy than, for example. doing pro bono work for indigent clients (even the bad ones). I guess my point is, can we acknowledge that some things are more praiseworthy than others, at least?
