Seems like a "we'll push our scumbag guy (Swalwell) out if you push your scumbag guy (Gonzales) out" trade, perhaps necessary given the very close House.
I'm glad they resigned and I'm all for pressuring people to resign, but I actually don't like the idea of opening the door to making explusion votes a normal thing.
