Here at atrios dot blogspot dot come we have spent many years criticizing many aspects of the New York Times. I'm not sure it was until recently that I concluded that the reason it is as it is, right now, with the obsessive dishonest crime coverage, the anti-trans crusade, and now its tacit approval of vigilante murder over nothing, is that the people who run the place are just horrible, monstrous people.
