If the powers that be wanted to defeat Mamdani - and of course they did - then they should've lined up behind someone who wasn't a complete scumbag.

Cuomo, talking to conservative radio host Sid Rosenberg this morning:

"God forbid, another 9/11—can you imagine Mamdani in the seat?" Cuomo asks.

"He'd be cheering," Rosenberg says.

Cuomo paused and chuckled before saying: "That's another problem."

It says a lot that they were happy enough with Cuomo that they never bothered.
